When the British Airways and Air France Concordes retired last year, rumour had it that BA's fierce competitor Virgin Atlantic wanted to pick them up (probably more on spite than for business). This didn't happen and all the Concordes found new homes.
BA has parked the G-BOAB along one of the taxiways at Heathrow. I took this photo from a plane when taxiing/queueing for take-off last week.
Is it coincidental that they've parked it just in front of the Virgin Atlantic hangar? I think not...
