Space Invaders, Champs Elysees, Paris, France

Yeah, that's another space invader, similar to the one spotted in Neal Street (London) a few months back. ... and yes, it's the Arc de Triomphe in the background.

Keeping a watchful eye on the people exiting the George V metro station on the Champs Elysées in Paris, this alien was very similar to the London one, and there had to be a bigger explanation than random co-incidence:

A half torn poster seen elsewhere in Paris suggested an alien invasion in Paris, Tokyo and London, and some digging upon returning shows that the space-invaders.com website is selling alien mosaic kits and "invasion maps".

Cool. art. Reminds me of Pattern Reconition by William Gibson.
