Inspired by Sensitive Light's "Townsfolk" photos, I went down to the Strand with my new lens and zoomed in on some people... I liked the way the photo of this man turned out...
Tech info: Canon EOS 10D, Lens Canon 70-200mm F4 L, ISO 400, shutter 1/350s.
Excelent portrait, well done. That lens is so good for this type of shot. Did you feel comfortable popping at strangers?

It was indeed a bit awkward at first (and a lot more people shunned my lens than you report in your posting (linked above)) , but then I thought "what the h#ll" and just went for it, zooming in on people far away. A lot of fun; will definitely do more of it :-)
